Camille Laurier
B. Sc. kinesiologye, founder.

kinesiologist and equestrian athlete

I decided to take the kinesiology program because from the very first day I sat in the saddle, I wanted to find out how I could improve as an equestrian athlete. As I transitioned from athlete to trainer, I noticed that the majority of riders I worked with had shortcomings in their athletic abilities, despite the high physical demands of the sport. Conversely, I noticed the lack of services that meet the specific needs of riders. Although existing, these services are little or even not at all adapted to the reality of equestrian athletes.

By questioning myself on each ride, by reading and listening to the professionals and riders around me, I understood that besides the hours spent in the saddle, one of the best ways to improve is by improving your strength. , his coordination, his balance with exercises specific to riding.

ÉQUIMOTION's mission is to allow riders to benefit from a quality training service, focused on their needs and the specificities of their sport so that they can perform in their sport for a long time and without pain.

Kinesiology & physical preparation

Physical preparation and return to the saddle after an injury

Kinesiology is the science of movement. Each exercise is thought out according to the needs of the riders when they are in the saddle. Improve the independence of your aids, your attitude, your posture and the clarity of your requests in order to obtain optimal results during your rides. Horseback riding is a special sport because we can only practice it for a few hours a week compared to other sports. By participating in a sport-specific exercise program, you maximize time in the saddle and accelerate the attainment of your goals

We come directly to your stable or your home.

Perinatal kinesiology

Pre and post natal training service

Young mothers, prepare for your return to the saddle to avoid the pain and complications that sometimes arise after pregnancy. A program adapted both to the demands of the sport as well as to the needs of the young mother allows an optimal return to the saddle, without pain and without constraints. If you haven't had your child yet, preparing for your return to the saddle before giving birth not only allows you to stay in the saddle longer but also to get back on your feet more quickly after the baby arrives._cc781905-5cde -3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_

mental preparation

Improve your performance, your self-confidence and set goals

Horse riding is a sport with very high physical and psychological demands. In horse riding, the ups and downs follow one another and it is sometimes difficult to stay focused on our objectives. In competition, the pressure can sometimes be difficult to manage and affect our results. Mental preparation allows us to focus on ourselves and our objectives, learn to manage pressure, visualize what we want to achieve, and thus improve results in the saddle at home and in competitions.

How do we help riders

“I highly recommend Camille Laurier as a physical trainer.  She built me a personalized program that targeted my weaknesses. The exercises have helped me in so many ways, but particularly helped my balance and strength. »
